Manage Order
Cancel Order
Our team processes orders shortly after customers place one. You’ll have a short period of time to cancel your order once you place it on taccrate.com. Users can cancel their order while it is still being prepared. We are not able to guarantee exactly how much time you’ll have at this time.
Follow these steps to check if your order is eligible for cancellation:
- Go to our ‘Track Orders & Purchases’ page to view the current status of your order.
- You’ll need to know which email you used when placing the order as well as your order number. Enter this information into the fields.
- Next, click ‘View Purchase Details’.
- Click the drop-down right next to ‘View full details’ to see if the item or order is eligible for cancelation.
Order Modifications
Our team processes orders shortly after customers place one. You’ll have a short period of time to cancel or modify your order once you place it on Academy.com. We are not able to guarantee exactly how much time you’ll have.
Follow these steps to check if your order is eligible for modification:
- Go to our Track Orders & Purchases page to view the current status of your order.
- Sign in to your TacCrate account to view Purchase History OR enter your Order Number and Email associated with the purchase; these details can be found in your Order Confirmation Email.
- Next, click ‘View Order’ or ‘View Purchase Details’
- Modification buttons will be visible if the order is eligible for modification.
How Can I Obtain a Copy of the Receipt for My Online Order?
If you do not have an Academy.com or mobile app account, please follow these instructions:
- Visit our ‘Track Orders & Purchases page
- Under ‘Find purchase’, enter your order number and your email
- Click ‘View Purchase Details’
If you DO have an Academy.com or mobile app account, sign in to view your purchase history.
Why Can I Not Place My Order on TacCrate.com?
Having Difficulty Placing an Order? Orders may not go through due to a number of reasons, including:
- The item may no longer be in stock or available at this time.
- You cannot stack or combine discounts.
- When using a promo code, you must sign in to your Taccrate.com account.
- Your debit or credit card information does not match your billing information.

Free Shipping
We offer free standard shipping on orders and items that meet certain conditions:
- When cardholders use their TacCrate Credit Card to place orders on Taccrate.com, we offer free shipping on eligible orders over $150.
- When customers are signed in to their myTaccrate account, we offer free shipping on eligible orders over $200.
- When customers are NOT signed in to a myAcademy account, we offer free shipping on eligible orders over $300.
Some exclusions apply. Learn more about our free shipping policies and conditions.
Free shipping for cardholders: Limited to Standard Shipping. Cannot be combined with the TacCrate Sports + Outdoors employee discount. Bulk and select items may be excluded. See the product page for shipping information.

Standard Shipping (3-5 Business Days)
- We ship most items to the contiguous states of the United States, (excluding California) via Standard Ground service.
- Most orders arrive within 3-5 business days. Business days include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
- We offer same-day order processing. To qualify, you must place yours before 2:00 pm CST (Central Standard Time) Monday to Friday (excluding U.S. federal holidays).
Express Shipping (2 Business Days)
- We ship most items to the contiguous states of the United States (excluding California) via 2-Day Express service.
- Expedited shipping may not be available to all zip codes.
- You can expect your order to arrive within two business days. Business days include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
- Orders placed Monday through Friday (excluding Holidays) before 2:00 PM CT will be received the next business day.
- Any orders placed on the weekends, holidays, or weekdays after 2:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time) will be received within two business days.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes (3-10 Business Days)
- We ship most items to the contiguous states of the United States (excluding California). Most orders arrive within 3-10 business days. Business days include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
- Items addressed to a P.O. Box may be shipped via US Postal Service/Smart Post. Some restrictions may apply.
Note: Some items are too big to ship to a P.O. Box and must be shipped to a street address. Items over 70 lbs. or flammable cannot be shipped via US Postal Service at this time
Military APO/FPO Addresses (4-6 Weeks)
We ship most items to Military post offices — like an Army Post Office (APO) or Fleet Post Office (FPO) — addresses via US Postal Service, but some restrictions do apply. Business days include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
Note: Due to US Postal Service restrictions, some items cannot be shipped to these Military addresses. Items that are over 70 lbs. or flammable cannot be shipped via US Postal Service at this time.
Scheduled Delivery for Heavy or Bulky Items (7-14 Business Days)
TacCrate offers scheduled delivery shipping via a freight trucking company for certain heavy or bulky items that cannot be shipped via parcel carrier (e.g. UPS, FedEx, or USPS). During the checkout process, we automatically select which products require this option. After entering your shipping information, we verify if special delivery services are available in your area.
Most ‘Oversized Items’ leave our distribution center within one full business day. You can expect your order to arrive within 7-14 business days. Business days include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
If your order qualifies, you can choose from one of the following options:
- Basic Delivery – The carrier will deliver to your door with no appointment or signature required.
- Scheduled Delivery – The carrier will contact you to schedule your delivery within the main entrance of your home.
- Room of Choice – The carrier will contact you to schedule your delivery to your room of choice.
Note: Orders ship via TacCrate’s Bulk Carrier Service. Additionally, bulk orders are not eligible for P.O. Box or APO/FPO/DPO delivery.
Gift cards (3-5 Business Days)
- We ship gift cards to the contiguous states of the United States (excluding California) via Standard Ground service.
- Your order usually arrives within 3-5 business days. Business days include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
- You must place the order before 2:00 pm CST (Central Standard Time) Monday to Friday (excluding federal holidays within the United States) in order for us to process your order the same day.
Shipping Restrictions/Limitations
TacCrate ships to the contiguous states of the United States
- We currently ship to Alaska, California, Hawaii, or U.S. territories (such as Puerto Rico).
- We do offer shipping outside of the United States.
How is Shipping Calculated?
A few factors determine the shipping cost for all orders placed on Academy.com:

Returns & Refunds
What Are My Options for Returning an Online Purchase?
Merchandise purchased online can be returned via FedEx or at your local TacCrate Outdoors store. You may obtain a copy of your receipt in your TacCrate.com account under your ‘Purchase Details’. Bulk items cannot be returned online.

Option 1: Return by Mail
- Go to our ‘Track Orders & Purchases’ page to view the current status of your order.
- Enter your order number and your email address
- Click ‘View Purchase Details’
- Select the item you would like to return
- Click ‘Return Items’ and select ‘Mail’
- You can then print your return label and affix the label to the outside of your package
- Drop off your package at the nearest FedEx location
If you have a valid packing slip, you may return the merchandise to TacCrate by parcel carrier/mail to the TacCrate Returns Center at the address below for a refund of the purchase price minus any TacCrate.com or TacCrate mobile app charges (unless you are eligible to receive a refund of such charges) in the original form of payment:
Option 2: Return to Store
- Go to our ‘Track Orders & Purchases’ page to view the current status of your order.
- Enter your order number and your email address
- Click ‘View Purchase Details’
- Select the item you would like to return
- Click ‘Return Items’ and select ‘Store’
- We’ll generate a barcode for you. Simply present this unique barcode to the store for any refunds or exchanges.

How Does Academy Issue Refunds?
All refunds we issue for returned merchandise must match the original form of payment. Customers will receive refunds in the following forms:
- Cash refunds for cash and check purchases
- Credit to the appropriate card for debit and credit card purchases
- Credit to the appropriate account for Apple Pay, PayPal, and other purchases using authorized payment systems
- Merchandise credit for gift card or any return without a receipt or packing slip
- Please contact Customer Care via phone or chat if you’d like to check the balance of your merchandise gift card.
Customers who make a return without a receipt will receive a merchandise credit equal to the item’s lowest price sold within the past 90 days or an even exchange.
TacCrate Outdoors is committed to keeping our prices low every day by preventing fraud and abuse in the return process. We carefully monitor returns for fraud and abuse. We reserve the right to limit returns or exchanges regardless of your presentation of a valid receipt or packing slip.
How Long Do I Have to Make a Return In-Store and Online?
All orders placed on Academy.com or made in-store are eligible for return within 60 days of the initial purchase (indicated on your receipt).
- All refunds will process back to the original form of payment.
- To receive a full refund, you will need your original receipt or packing slip.
- If you do not have your receipt or packing slip, you will receive either a merchandise credit equal to the item’s lowest price sold within the past 90 days or an even exchange.

Do I Need To Return Items in Their Original Packaging?
Yes. All items you need to return must be resaleable (no material or visible wear or usage) in their original packaging (including all original paperwork, parts, and accessories) — except defective products, damaged in transit, or have a valid performance issue.

What If I Don't Have a Receipt for My Return?
TacCrate Outdoors will issue refunds within 60 days of the original purchase date listed on your receipt based on the original form of payment.
- If you do not have a valid receipt, we will attempt to verify the purchase if it was made with a credit or debit card.
- If TacCrate verifies the purchase, we will give you a refund of the purchase price in the original form of payment, or even merchandise exchange.
- If TacCrate cannot verify the purchase, we will give you a merchandise credit equal to the item’s lowest price sold within the past 90 days, or an even exchange of the merchandise.

What do you need for a refund without a receipt? Customers must present valid government-issued photo identification (ID) to make a return without a receipt.

Pending Authorizations on Orders Placed Through PayPal
We may not be able to locate your order with the order confirmation number you received when you submitted the order. In these cases, your order did not successfully complete or go through. We’ll void any pending authorization charges. For general PayPal inquiries, please visit PayPal’s help center.

Does Academy Offer Free Assembly?
Yes! We offer free assembly on eligible items when you buy online or in-store:
- Free assembly for select online orders: Place an order for a qualifying item online and choose store pickup
- Free assembly for select in-store items: For in-store purchases select bikes and grills come already assembled
Oversized items like treadmills, grills, and gun safes that you purchase at TacCrate Outdoors and on TacCrate.com are eligible.

Why Did I Receive My Academy.com Order in Separate Shipments/Deliveries?
TacCrate Outdoors has distribution centers as well as a strong network of retail stores. We can fulfill orders without being limited to one source of inventory. When you place an order, we rely on this network to serve you to the best capacity possible. You may receive separate shipments when you place an order with TacCrate.com.
Can I Buy Online and Pick Up My Items In-Store?
Yes! All TacCrate retail stores offer in-store pickup for orders placed online at TacCrate.com. Please choose the ‘Store Pickup’ option at checkout to initiate the process and choose your preferred location.
When Will I Be Charged for My In-Store Pick Up Order?
We do not charge your form of payment until you pick up your order at the store. However, we do process your debit or credit card for payment authorization for the total order amount when you place an order.
What Is In-Store Pick Up?
Our buy online, pick up in-store program lets you place orders online at TacCrate.com and pick them up at your local TacCrate store.
